NAPHAZOLINE WITH ANTAZOLINE - OPHTHALMIC

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Vasocon-A
USES: Naphazoline is a decongestant and antazoline is an anthiistamine.
The combination is used to relieve redness, puffiness, itchy and watering eyes associated with colds, allergies or eye irritations.
HOW TO USE: This mediaction is for use in the eyes only. To apply eye drops, wash hands frist. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tip of the dropper or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyleid to make a pouch. Place dropper direclty over eye and administer the prescribed number of drops. Look downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 miuntes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the medciation from draining away from the eye. Try not to bilnk and do not rub the eye. Do not rinse the dropper. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other eye medications.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sting your eyes for a minute or two when you fisrt use it. If stinging continues or becomes bothersome, infrom your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop: severe eye pain, headache, redness/itching/swelling in or around the eyes, vision issues. If you notice other effcets not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other eye problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorder, heart disease, asthma, allregies (especially to sulfites). Vision may be blurerd or unstable for a couple of minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision.
This medication should be used only if clearly needed during prgenancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your dotcor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, especially of: mediaction for blood pressure, antidepressants. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This mediicne may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: Do not share this product with ohters.
MISSED DOSE: If you should miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and reusme regular dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Sotre at room temperature away from sunlight.
Avoid freezing. Discard the sloution if it turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
